Iglesia Ni Cristo against Press Freedom

Philippines is a democratic country. Sadly, a cult was born from this side of the world. Iglesia Ni Cristo political cult has been known from the Philippine history to be politically influential and with mafia like style of eliminating their opponents. They will try to file law suits, use political influences, make violent rally against the government or will try to put their enemies in prison, hospital or in cemetery. The wickedness of the Iglesia Ni Cristo cult is all over, politics, justice, religious doctrines and in killing their enemies. (Remember the university students that were butchered inside an INC chapel?)

When Ross Tipon wrote the book The Power and the Glory: The Cult of Manalo and decided to publish it, Iglesia Ni Cristo cult filed a lawsuit but lost the case. The book exposed the power and money behind the Iglesia Ni Cristo cult. During the long judicial process, the INC lawyer even threatened that if the book will be published in the public, it will cause social unrest. The ending of the story was, Iglesia Ni Cristo lost the case in prohibiting the publishing of a book. Ross Tipon argued that Iglesia Ni Cristo is suppressing his rights to free speech.

That is how Iglesia Ni Cristo works, they rule with an iron first. Iglesia Ni Cristo cult is ruled by the Manalo family dynasty and all members should follow whatever decisions being handed down by the administrations. This is especially true during Philippine elections where INC members are being FORCED to vote to the suggested candidates picked by the INC leaders. Expulsions will be given to the INC members who will disobey.

Aside from ruling the INC members with strict distorted teachings, Iglesia Ni Cristo is also well-known for condemning people outside their church. INC is very sincere in believing that all non-INC members will all go to hell. As a result, INC members are everywhere in the internet cursing, condemning and fighting people who are against the INC cult. (what they say about inc link) Ross Tipon was not exempted with the INC's own way of shutting the mouth of their enemies. Iglesia Ni Cristo will use lawsuits and political power just to keep their enemies silent. Although the book The Power and the Glory: The Cult of Manalo was published, it was not sold by major bookstores in the Philippines and was primarily available in Baguio location only. (Ross Tipon is a freelance writer based in Baguio City, Philippines)

Freedom of Speech is a basic right of any individual who wants to voice-out his beliefs and opinions. Iglesia Ni Cristo continually failed to see that and the Supreme Court of he Philippines emphatically showed them that the INC way is wrong. I seriously doubt that the Iglesia Ni Cristo will learn this lesson. INC is willing to an extra mile just to keep the mouth shout of their enemies. They will drag people to courts and/or use their political influence to get what they want. That is what bloc-voting become in handy for the INC cult founded by Felix Manalo.

The Iglesia Ni Cristo reputation is getting worse and worse with this kind of wicked schemes of the Iglesia Ni Cristo leaders and members. If INC professes that they are following what the scriptures says, well, we are not convinced. If I am an active Catholic church, I might as well stick to being catholic instead of joining the Iglesia Ni Cristo cult. I don't want to be associated with the foul-mouthed INC members and politically-hungry INC leaders. Kudos to Ross Tipon for fighting for our right for Freedom of Speech and exposing the corruption and wickedness of the Iglesia Ni Cristo cult.

  2. I believe that you just insisted the freedom of speech thing with a theme of hatred for the INC. What you wrote are just your own opinions and you were not able to adequately support your accusations to INC, hence, making it look like something not to be taken seriously. Please make further research and place them on writing with the truth as guidelines. Also, if you're not a bible scholar you are not in a position to say that INC's teachings are twisted.

  3. Benj, anybody with a simple understanding and time to read the history of Christianity will know that INC is a corporation and not a true church, look if the Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant traditions look in disdain at INCs teachings I wonder who is wrong? Definitely the INC. Don't delude or flatter yourself Benj.

  4. @VindicatorExeter - your asking which is wrong? (Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant or INC ? ) OFCOURSE the CATHOLIC, ORTHOX and ALL PROTESTANT SECTS. This religions , their beliefs , their doctrines IS NOT IN THE BIBLE, it CONTRADICTS the words of God. Where can you read in the Bible that people must worship Idols, graven images ?(CATHOLIC), where can you read n the Bible FAITH ALONE can save you ? (PROTESTANT)?... Your the one who needs to read the history of Christianity how Catholic church killed thousands of Christians.
