Getting married to an Iglesia Ni Cristo member? Well, As far as I know, that is the current most effective way for Iglesia Ni Cristo cult to increase their membership, by prohibiting their members in marrying non-INC members. Like bloc-voting, Iglesia Ni Cristo enforces an awkward and weird doctrine that No INC members are allowed to get married to people who are "outside" or non-members of Iglesia Ni Cristo. Expulsion will be given to all who will not follow the Iglesia Ni Cristo's doctrine of bloc-voting to elections and non-compliance of falling in love to INC members only. FIRST, Iglesia Ni Cristo will change your decision on what your heart dictates in politics then SECOND, Iglesia Ni Cristo will also change your heart to whom you should marry.
Since Iglesia Ni Cristo is not that active in propagating their doctrines in TV and the internet, (Until now, almost a century of INC's existence, they still don't have an Iglesia Ni Cristo official website that contains their doctrines) Filipinos are not that familiar with the INC doctrine. INC members would often invite guests to their gatherings to entice you and convince you how "marvelous" the INC chapel from inside. If you want to marry an Iglesia Ni Cristo member, you have to endure 6months of listening Iglesia Ni Cristo doctrines attending their church services with no absents, they will finally allow you to join the group including your acceptance to the INC faith that Felix Manalo is an angel while Jesus Christ is not God, You are loosing your right to vote, You are loosing your right to fall in love with someone you love (you should only fall in love to INC members) and losing your faith that is in the bible. I mean, how does Iglesia Ni Cristo can explain that Jesus Christ is not a God?
Falling in love with an INC member can be a complete misery. You don't change religion because your fiancée ask you to do it. You don't change religion in exchange of love. Partners should respect each other's beliefs. Love and marriage should mean willing to accept other one's beliefs. You do not enforce some weird doctrines to your love one for them to believe in it. It is a fragile way to build your relationship and it will crumble on a later part of your life. You change your religious beliefs because of a boy or girl you love? Get real. You are falling to the scheme of the cult Iglesia Ni Cristo. The scheme of INC of increasing cult members will later be used during elections. INC often boasts to politicians that they are already millions of INC members but the recent 2010 national election reveals to true number of INC voting population. They are just basically less than half a million.
Eduardo Manalo and INC vote is a failure
First: Iglesia Ni Cristo will dictate you that you should only fall in love to INC members
Second: Iglesia Ni Cristo will dictate you what to believe (weird doctrines)
Third: Iglesia Ni Cristo will dictate you who you should vote in elections
You are trapped like a bird in a small cage.
Is that how you want to become someday by falling in love to an Iglesia Ni Cristo member?
Iglesia Ni Cristo plays a big deception game here.
I don't think any INC members can sensibly justify their doctrine of not falling in love to non-INC member is a ground for church expulsion. I have talked to INC members regarding this topic and they are just blind followers who do not make any sense. They will just do whatever they have been told. A clear classic case of cult fanatism. I have never considered of marrying an Iglesia Ni Cristo member. I cannot simply throw away my beliefs just because of marrying an INC member. Felix Manalo is not an angel sent by God Jesus Christ is not a man. Iglesia Ni Cristo cannot simply understand these undeniable facts. What a pity.
If in the near future you will be invited or part of an Iglesia Ni Cristo wedding on their church or wedding reception, don't forget to bring cool-aid. Religious Brainwashing starts at the Iglesia Ni Cristo chapels.
